President Trump has just slammed his Democratic rival Joe Biden over his response to a question about protecting access to abortion, just as Democrats are preparing for the possible nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, which would give the court a strong conservative majority.
“Wow. Joe Biden just took a more Liberal position on Roe v. Wade than Elizabeth Warren at her highest. He also wants to PACK our great United States Supreme Court. This is what the Dems will do. Remember as they try changing positions before elections end,” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning.

“GET OUT AND VOTE!” Trump continued.
In a subsequent tweet, President Trump continued his focus on the issue of abortion, mentioning Joe Biden and other Democrats’ support of late term abortion.
“Biden and Democrats just clarified the fact that they are fully in favor of (very) LATE TERM ABORTION, right up until the time of birth, and beyond — which would be execution. Biden even endorsed the Governor of Virginia, who stated this clearly for all to hear. GET OUT & VOTE!” Trump said, referencing Governor Ralph Northam, who has been blasted by many on the right for statements he made in support of third trimester abortion in early 2019.

All of Trump’s comments are in response to Biden’s recent pledge to enact legislation guaranteeing abortion rights, should Roe v. Wade be overturned by the Supreme Court after the successful nomination of Barrett.
Speaking at a town hall in Miami, Joe Biden claimed that he would push this legislation through in response to a question by a woman in the audience, asking how he planned to protect abortion rights as the Supreme Court may soon have a substantial conservative majority.
“Number one, we don’t know exactly what she will do, although expectation is that she may very well move to … overrule Roe,” the Democratic presidential nominee said at the start of his answer.
“And the only thing, the only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making Roe the law of the land. That’s what I would do,” Biden continued.
The Democrat avoided adding any details to his answer, nor was he asked by the moderator to clarify how he would enact the legislation.
The Senate, which has a 53-47 Republican majority, has shown no hesitation in its’ plan to push through President Trump’s nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to a vote before the November election.
If Judge Barrett is confirmed, the Supreme Court will have a 6-3 conservative majority.
