The internet is blowing up with the news of a Kentucky sheriff gone rogue.
According to reports, the sheriff opened fire on a judge in his chambers.
The judge was shot and killed.
He’s Gone
Letcher County Sheriff Shawn M. Stines, 43, apparently lost his mind after having testified in a case.
The sheriff was in the chambers of Judge Kevin Mullins when the two got into an argument, with Stines pulling and firing his weapon multiple times.
The judge was shot and killed, with Stines reportedly giving himself up to local authorities without any further incident after the shooting.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear stated, “Sadly, I have been informed that a district judge in Letcher County was shot and killed in his chambers this afternoon.
“There is far too much violence in this world, and I pray there is a path to a better tomorrow.”
The Kentucky Court of Justice added, “The Kentucky Court of Justice is aware of a tragic incident that occurred today in Letcher County.
“We are currently in contact with law enforcement agencies, including Kentucky State Police, and are offering our full support during this difficult time.
“At this moment, we are not able to share further details, but we will provide updates as more information becomes available.”
This is yet another attack against a judge in a long line of attacks we have seen over the last few years.
Remember the judge in Nevada that had a man jump over the bench and attack her during a sentencing hearing?
What about all the threats against our justices, including a man traveling to DC in a reported assassination attempt against Justice Kavanaugh?
Maybe, just maybe, it is time for everyone to dial down the rhetoric after two assassination attempts against Trump and these additional attacks.
Democrats would not dream of that, however, continuing to double down on Trump being a “threat to democracy.”
If you ask me, they want someone to kill Trump so they don’t have to deal with him any longer.
