Trump LOSES HUGE in Court… DEVASTATING

More bad news for Donald Trump.

In addition to everything else that he is dealing with right now, he was just informed that he lost a major court battle.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled 3-0 against Trump in the case to keep his tax records out of the hands of Congress.

Sorry, Trump

This was a case that seemed as though it had lined up perfectly for Trump.

It was initially assigned to a judge he appointed, but the case fell against him.

Now a Reagan-appointed judge was on the panel that ruled against him at the appellate level.

This means the House Ways and Means Committee will soon be able to get its hands on his tax records, which will surely be leaked to the media soon thereafter.

Judge David Sentelle, in the majority ruling, stated, “In this case, the need for the Trump Parties’ information to inform potential legislation overrides the burden to the Executive Branch largely because that burden is so tenuous.”

The other two judges on this panel were Bush and Obama appointees.

The ruling continued, “While it is possible that Congress may attempt to threaten the sitting President with an invasive request after leaving office, every President takes office knowing that he will be subject to the same laws as all other citizens upon leaving office.

“This is a feature of our democratic republic, not a bug.”

The “official” ruling will not be released for a week, so Trump can still appeal and hope to hold this up a bit longer.

I am fairly sure he will go that route to try to keep this held up in the courts in the hopes that Republicans can take back the House and pull the case.

This case has been in the courts since 2019, and the next appeal, as far as I know, would be Trump’s last hope to block the committee.
