It’s already started. Curiously, the backfire started with CNN of all places. Once the Trump verdict was read, political contributor Scott Jennings said it would favor Republicans. Actor Michael Rapaport said he’d bet money on Trump winning after this. The Trump fund raising website crashed. People who said they’d never vote for him are now going out of their way to tell people Trump has their vote.

The massive backfire

Jennings spoke of his phone blowing up.

“Well, if my phone and the text messages I’m receiving are any indication, every Republican in the country is matter in a wet hen. I mean, people who are decidedly non-MAGA, not Trump fans are blowing up tonight saying this case never should have been brought, this is ridiculous charges. It was an egregious use of the criminal justice system. And I mean, I’m hearing people say I had no intention of voting for Donald Trump, and now I am. And then if you ask to Trump campaign, what’s happening? You know, they literally broke their online donation portal because people were rushing to the internet to save their money in the minutes after the verdict. So I think there’s a real chance here. it’s going to massively backfire on the Democrats and helped Donald Trump.”

Rapaport posted on Twitter or X that “I’m predicting that Trump will win the election 2024 & just bet money on it.” Trump said, “The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people, and they know what happened here and everybody knows what happened here. We’ll fight to the end.”

Rapaport was completely disgusted with Biden and “unendorsed” him, furious he wasn’t sending weapons to Israel, “You’re not sending weapons to Israel? During a fucking war? While American hostages and hostages from 22 countries are still in that fucking pisshole? You’re not sending weapons now, you dumb fuck?”

The backfire in business

Fellow businessman and former Clinton donor Shaun Maguire spoke up. Minutes after the verdict he donated $300,000.

He tweeted out “I just donated $300k to President Trump. The timing isn’t a coincidence.” He tweeted out a second time with a link that explained why he did that.

“I just donated $300k to Trump. I’m prepared to lose friends. Here’s why. Back in 2016, I had drunk the media Kool-Aid and was scared out of my mind about Trump. As such, I donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and voted for her. By 2020, I was disillusioned and didn’t vote – I didn’t like either option. Now, in 2024, I believe this is one of the most important elections of my lifetime, and I’m supporting Trump. I know that I’ll lose friends for this. Some will refuse to do business with me. The media will probably demonize me, as they have so many others before me. But despite this, I still believe it’s the right thing to do. I refuse to live in a society where people are afraid to speak.”

The backfire in changed minds

The media and friends may hate you but you need to do what’s right by your conscience. After the verdict, Maguire researched.

Hillary Clinton denied the results of the 2016 election many times and still does to this day. There’s a lot of manipulation we don’t know about.

Russia supporting Trump scared Maguire into not supporting Trump. He learned later he was wrong. Trump turned out to be great at foreign policy. And that was just one of his foreign policy wins, among them being the Abraham Accords. Trump doesn’t want war and put his money where his mouth was.
