For years, half of Congress has been trying to get their hands on Treasury Department documents related to the Biden family. They’re called “suspicious activity reports.” The whole world knows that there is a big stack of them involving both Hunter and Joe Biden. More specifically, the family financial transactions. Now that Republicans have the upper hand in the House, Janet Yellen came up with a new reason not to hand them over to investigators. If turning them over isn’t in Joe Biden’s “interest,” she won’t do it. Evidence of his crimes certainly would fit that category, so guess what.
Treasury won’t cooperate
As The Hill is reporting, the Treasury Department “has delayed a House Republican request for information on Biden family financial transactions that may have been marked as suspicious.”
The reason Janet Yellen gave, for thumbing her nose at James Comer and the House Oversight and Accountability Committee he chairs, is that she “must first determine whether the disclosure of the records is consistent with longstanding Executive Branch interests.” It isn’t.
Representative Comer had “requested suspicious activity reports related to the Biden family earlier this month.” They don’t automatically mean money laundering or tax evasion but they do send up red flags with Treasury agents for those things.

“Suspicious activity reports are generated by financial institutions when flagging suspicious financial moves and are submitted to the federal government.” Joe is the federal government so he can do no wrong. Case closed.
It’s important to note that the Treasury is sending a specific message with their denial. They won’t turn over a thing until Comer and his oversight committee tells them “why it wants the information and what it plans on doing with it.” It’s nice to know that Janet Yellen has so much control over congress, isn’t it? She yanks our watchdogs around like they have a leash.
“It is important that a requesting committee specify in writing its purpose in seeking to obtain the requested information and the use it intends to make of it so that the Department can make a determination as to whether the disclosure is appropriate and consistent with longstanding Executive Branch interests, including the protection of ongoing law enforcement investigations.”
Ongoing investigations
The guys who lurk in progressive think tanks doing tabletop political war-games have given Joe Biden and his regime the magic spell they need to ward off deplorable conservative demons. Ones with subpoenas in their hands. “Ongoing investigation.” Janet Yellen and her money printing crew in the Treasury aren’t the only ones who know how that trick works.
Remember Uranium One? Believe it or not, that’s still an open investigation. Douglas Campbell is still waiting to testify in it. The world is awaiting the final report. It was opened by Eric Holder and that file won’t close while the Clintons remain alive. Democrats found a great way to evade disclosure. You’ll be hearing that phrase a lot, in coming weeks and months.
When James Comer got the Treasury Department’s official response, his eye’s bugged out like Adam Schiff. He “blasted” the stonewall scheme as a “coordinated effort” by the Biden regime to “hide information” about Biden family “shady business schemes.” He also notes it’s “alarming and raises many questions.” He’s not ready to give up yet.

“We will continue to press for access to suspicious activity reports generated for the Biden family and their associates, and will use the power of the gavel to get them if needed.”
Stand in line, Yellen scoffs. Behind Senators Charles Grassley and Ron Johnson, then Jim Jordan. “The Oversight Committee’s investigation is just one of a number of probes that House Republicans have launched” into Biden family influence peddling and general corruption.
The Treasury Department is only one agency in trouble. They may be guilty of obstruction but the FBI and DOJ (allegedly) play a much more sinister role behind the scenes.
