Nancy Pelosi thinks she can cash in on President Donald Trump’s Covid-19 diagnosis and set up a power play for radical progressive Democrats at the same time, just in case Biden manges to pull off the heist of the century and steal the election, with Trump barreling toward a landslide victory in November.
Pelosi thinks Trump is on drugs
To distract attention from the size of her bar tabs, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi accused President Donald Trump of being higher than a kite on his Covid-cocktail of meds. “The president is, shall we say, in an altered state right now,” she snarked. Trump has been a little testy ever since the paperwork went public which proves the CIA caught Hillary Clinton conspiring with Russia to blame it on him.
The left-leaning California Democrat, who endorses the streets of her district being used for public toilets, blames Trump’s anger that Barack Obama’s FBI was committing the crimes which the CIA uncovered, on “Trump’s drug regimen which includes a steroid linked to mood swings.” Since Trump is obviously hallucinating, Pelosi and the Democrats are using it as an excuse to set up a way to pull Joe Biden’s plug to clear the way for Kamala Harris.
Analysts agree that it’s nothing but “a political stunt.” The speaker, they point out, “appears to be exploiting Trump’s recent coronavirus diagnosis to create a sense of instability around the administration prior to the election,” which is only 25 days away. Pelosi wondered aloud to reporters, “why is the White House not telling the country that important fact about how this spread and made a hot spot of the White House?” Some say that her plot runs much deeper than that.
Commission on Presidential Capacity
Nancy Pelosi co-sponsored the bill introduced by Maryland Democrat Representative Jamie Raskin which proposes the creation of a Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of Office. The fancy title covers a bill which would allow Congress to pull the nuclear football away from the president and hand it the vice president if he goes loopy. Biden is the one everyone expects it to be used on first, assuming he ever gets to the office, of course.
“Joe’s not lasting two months as president, OK?” Trump said in an interview Thursday. Beltway pundits are noting that if Joe Biden were to somehow win the election, this legislation would help democrats “insert” Kamala Harris into office. The 17 member panel would “evaluate the president” for potential removal from office to “ensure effective and uninterrupted leadership in the highest office” of government. Using the 25th Amendment to the Constitution as a basis, the scheme Pelosi cooked up would be permanent and binding on future administrations.
The panel would include “four physicians, four psychiatrists and eight former high-ranking executive officials to be chosen from a pool of former presidents, former vice presidents, former surgeon generals and former heads of the State, Treasury, Defense and Justice departments. Those 16 figures would be decided by the bipartisan leaders of both chambers of Congress.” Those 16 people would pick the 17th. The big theories that are floating around in Washington say it’s really about Biden. Even Pelosi made it clear that “This is not about President Trump. He will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents.”
