The beautiful city of Portland more closely resembles a war zone now. There are a number of Middle East nations it could be compared to. It’s Democrat governor could win the prize for Worst Governor of the Year. Ted Wheeler will not deal with people destroying the area to the point of where the DHS is ready to come in, like it or not. How do the residents of Portland feel about this? Why are we not seeing any stories about how their lives are affected?
Some Democrats are steadfastly holding to orders
Ted is one of them. In August alone the Department of Homeland Security has made 255 arrests and declared 23 instances of rioting.
Chad Wolf, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security, wrote that Wheeler had “stood passively by, arguing that nightly violence ‘will ultimately burn itself out.’ The evidence demonstrates otherwise,”Just letting these people “get it out of their system” is unacceptable because it will never be out of their system.
Sticking to the Democrat playbook
Ted assumes it has to do with the election and that “help” will be just as bumbling as the Coronavirus response. Democrats cannot or do not understand Trump is not a politician. He doesn’t play by the same rules.
Wheeler noted, “Portlanders are on to you. We have already seen your reckless disregard for human life in your bumbling response to the COVID pandemic. And we know you’ve reached the conclusion that images of violence or vandalism are your only ticket to reelection.”
Wolf reminded the Democrat he has residents that need protection
Do you care about people that aren’t rioting Mr. Wheeler? Wolf stated, “Ignoring criminal behavior is no way to protect the citizens of your community, the same citizens who entrusted you to hold elected office. I urge you go prioritize public safety and to request federal assistance to restore law and order in Portland.”
Ted Wheeler is capable of stopping this. Or is he? Wolf continued, “The chaos, destruction, and suffering in Portland are evils you can stop—and must stop. Consider what happened recently in Wisconsin—where the State of Wisconsin requested and received federal law enforcement assistance and the violence and looting there ended.”
“Accordingly, I urge you to prioritize public safety and to request federal assistance to restore law and order in Portland. We are standing by to support Portland.
At the same time, President Trump has made it abundantly clear that there will come a point when state and local officials fail to protect its citizens from violence, the federal government will have no choice but to protect our American citizens.”
Democrats are sympathetic to anybody that hurts Trump supporters
This culminated is the murder of a Trump supporter, Aaron Danielson of Portland. He was a member of the Patriot Prayer group. Democrats need to note, conservatives aren’t rioting, looting and burning things down because Aaron was killed.
Aaron’s death was celebrated by rioters. “And tonight, I just got word, the person who died was a Patriot Prayer person,” said a woman spoke through a megaphone. “He was a fucking Nazi. Our community held its own and took out the trash. I’m not going to shed any tears over a Nazi.”
A 48-year-old Michael Reinoehl is the suspect. He was a professional snowboarder and is an active ANTIFA supporter online. He fits the description. His sister and mom don’t see much of him. He “showed up every once in a while to demand money from Mom and then disappear.”
Anybody that doesn’t take action against this violence is complicit. That includes Wheeler, DA Mike Schmidt and City Commissioner Jo Anne Hardesty.
