Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty is being slammed for effectively encouraging domestic terrorism after she refused to file criminal charges against a Minnesota government employee who vandalized six Teslas to the tune of $21,000 in damages.

The George Soros-backed judge has decided to enter “diversion” in the case of 33-year-old Dylan Bryan Adams, a fiscal policy analyst with the Minnesota Department of Human Services who was caught on camera vandalizing six different Tesla vehicles across Minneapolis, with many of the incidents involving him keying swastikas into the vehicles.

Even though he was caught on camera and admitted to vandalizing the Teslas, Moriarty is refusing to charge Adams.

“Our main priorities are to secure restitution for the victims and hold Mr. Adams accountable,” Hennepin County Attorney’s Office spokesman Daniel Borgertpoepping claimed. “As a result, we will file for pre-charge diversion to best facilitate both of those goals. This is an approach taken in many property crime cases and helps to ensure the individual keeps their job and can pay restitution, as well as reducing the likelihood of repeat offenses. Criminal prosecution remains a possibility should unlawful behavior continue.”

However, many are outraged over Moriarty’s decision, pointing out that it is encouraging domestic terrorism by not placing any real consequences on the perpetrator, especially because the policy of Hennepin County “caps diversion at $5K in damages” — even though Adams caused more than four times that amount in damages.

One of the people most outraged over the decision is Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, who slammed Moriarty’s decision and pointed out in a statement how “frustrated” investigators are when the county attorney’s office chooses not to pursue a case even though police worked so hard to present that case.

“The Minneapolis Police Department did its job,” O’Hara said. “It identified and investigated a crime trend, identified and arrested a suspect, and presented a case file to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges. This case impacted at least six victims and totaled over $20,000 in damages. Any frustration related to the charging decision of the Hennepin County Attorney should be directed solely at her office. Our investigators are always frustrated when the cases they poured their hearts into are declined. In my experience, the victims in these cases often feel the same.”

House Majority Whip Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) also slammed the decision in a post on X, writing: “Moriarty has encouraged violence in Minnesota — even letting murderers and rapists off easy.”

Emmer also called the Hennepin County Attorney “a joke” that “prioritizes criminals over safety.”

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson pointed out the blatant hypocrisy of Moriarty, noting that she had “filed felony charges against a 19-year-old woman for allegedly keying her co-worker’s car” while, at the same time, “she refused to charge a Tim Walz staffer who did over $20K in damage to 6 Teslas.”

“Two-tier justice,” he added.

“This is completely bonkers. If MAGA was the criminal they’d get years in jail. Two-tiered justice again,” X user Paul Szypula wrote.
