A Trump supporter wants liberals to know that law fare works both ways. Michael Davis is a former Supreme Court clerk who now heads the conservative legal group the Article III Project. He took issue with a US district judge that used a CNN appearance to accuse President Trump of threatening a NY judge and his daughter. That DC District judge Reggie Walton is getting his words used against him.
Trump posted about the judge
On his social media site. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, who is overseeing one of the Trump trials, felt threatened enough to legally shut Trump’s mouth with a gag order.
Walton spoke on CNN, “We do these jobs because we’re committed to the rule of law and we believe in the rule of law. And the rule of law can only function effectively when we have judges who are prepared to carry out their duties without the threat of potential physical harm.”
Typical Trump bluntness against the judge
Trump doesn’t sugar coat things and that bothers people and ruffles feathers. And any intellectually honest American is going to have trouble believing judges today are going to stick to the rule of law when it comes to the President and his supporters.
Over and over and over, Democratic prosecutors have stretched laws beyond description trying to “get Trump” in their court rooms. There’s Jack Smith on the federal level, the Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and Fani Willis in Georgia.
Politically motivated judge
And don’t forget New York Attorney General Letitia James. She wants to bankrupt Trump for engaging in normal real estate practices. And it’s not just prosecutors doing this.
Beryl Howell in DC wondered why longer sentences weren’t being sought for those jailed for Jan. 6. The anti-Trump bias is clear in Tanya Chutkan and Arthur Engoron. It doesn’t help that Merchan’s daughter is a high profile liberal activist that’s a partner in the progressive political consulting firm “Authentic Campaigns”. One of the clients of Authentic Campaigns is Adam Schiff.
