This year is really shaping up to be an exciting one for conservatives! News has just come in that fierce ally of former President Donald Trump and former candidate for governor of Arizona, Republican Kari Lake has announced her plan to run for U.S. Senate next month. Lake will be going up against Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), former Democrat, who currently holds the Senate seat.
After previously mounting a gubernatorial campaign and filing multiple lawsuits in its aftermath, Lake is now ready to make her mark in Washington D.C., and this could be a big game-changer for Republicans statewide — here’s why.
Arizona Republican Kari Lake will launch her Senate campaign as early as next month.
Do you think she will actually win her race this time? https://t.co/dc0VWZTMmT

Lake lost her gubernatorial election earlier this year but has since filed multiple lawsuits claiming that she was treated unfairly.
Despite the outcome of these legal appeals, Lake opted not to give up on her political aspirations as she traveled throughout states like Iowa, Michigan and Ohio endorsing conservative candidates in contested primaries.
In addition, rumors have been circulating that she might even join President Trump’s ticket next year – though it looks like Lake has something else up her sleeve. It appears she is more interested in starting fresh with a run at the U.S. Senate instead.
The race for U.S. Senate was at a standstill until recently when Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb announced he would not be running after all while Blake Masters – who ran alongside Lake last year – continues weighing his options on whether or not he should throw his hat into the ring once more.
President Trump himself expressed skepticism about Masters during a recent phone call but thus far has remained silent regarding who he believes should go head to head with Kari Lake within their own party first before taking on Sinema in the general election fight.
Only time will tell how this all plays out…
