Kari Lake Files Suit Against Katie Hobbs and Election Officials

Former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has just announced some big news. In an effort to continue her legal battle to get to the bottom of what she believes is a long list of election problems that have stemmed from the 2022 race, Lake has filed an appeal. The appeal is in connection with a previous ruling that went against her in May and has now submitted 74-pages worth of evidence to support her allegations.

In order to prove her case, Kari Lake has gone up against Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs and election officials in Maricopa County.

In all of her legal filings, she has been arguing for misconduct and malfunctioning election systems as well as improper signature verification of ballots by early voters.

She believes this new evidence will be enough to substantiate her claims about tainted election results.

The evidence presented by Kari Lake includes findings that suggest “Maricopa falsely certified its 446 vote-center tabulators passed mandatory L&A certification testing prior to Election Day” says the court brief; L&A stands for “logic and accuracy”.

This means that these 446 tabulators had misconfigured ballots which caused them to reject tens of thousands of valid votes due to lack of proper testing beforehand.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that there were unannounced tests conducted on October 14th through 18th which were most likely preparation for the chaos on Election Day itself – including massive lines and wait times that deprived many Republican voters from casting their ballot.

As if things couldn’t get any worse for Maricopa county officials, Yavapai County Superior Court Judge John Napper recently expressed his belief that the existing process used for verifying voter signatures on early ballots does not adhere to state law which contradicts current practice utilized today.

Ryan Heath made sure this opinion found its way into an additional court filing arguing why this election should be re-done given the fact that 1.3 million votes cast through mail-in ballots may have been affected by Maricopa county’s negligence with signature verification standards.

It looks like Kari Lake is now more determined than ever before to continue fighting for justice when it comes to uncovering potential fraud in Arizona elections.
