Remember when everyone said that Trump’s 10-point lead in the WaPa poll was an outlier?
Well, it may have actually just been a bit before its time.
The latest Rasmussen Reports survey has been released, and it is all good news for Trump.
Turning the Tide
It would appear that Democrat voters are starting to warm up to the idea of Trump going back to the White House.
The poll found that 30 percent of likely Democrat voters are now leaning toward Trump, and that is a HUGE number.
It also found that the majority of minorities are now leaning towards Trump, which is especially the case if he has a black vice president on the ticket.
The poll stated, “Majorities of every racial category — 53% of whites, 50% of black voters and 52% of other minorities — say they’re at least somewhat likely to vote for Trump in 2024.
“Twenty-five percent of black Trump voters say they would be more likely to vote for him if he picked a black running mate.”
If Biden loses 30 percent of Democrats and the minority vote, there is no way he can win this election.
The black VP angle is a game-changer as well.
If I were Trump, I would be making a deal with Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) right now.
Scott has no chance of winning this election, so Trump should make a deal for him to be VP right now, tell him to fold up shop, and put his support behind Trump.
If that happens, even if DeSantis and Haley team up, they would need a massive misstep by Trump to beat him.
