Joe Biden may want an invasion of illegal immigrants but Arizona does not. That’s why on Thursday Governor Doug Ducey signed an executive order to fill the border wall gaps. Now. They’re plugging the holes near Yuma with shipping containers topped off with razor wire.
Arizona secures their border
While Texas and Arizona both continue to send migrants to liberal sanctuary destinations, the Grand Canyon state went a step further and decided to close the security gaps along former President Donald Trump’s big, beautiful border wall.
Somebody has to do it and the state “can’t wait any longer,” Ducey declared on Thursday, August 11, his state has “had enough.”
The order Ducey autographed directs the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs to “fill gaps in the border wall in the Yuma sector.” That’s where they have the biggest problem with invading asylees. Construction started within hours.
It helps that California happens to be stuffed full of cargo containers, since freight isn’t moving anywhere until the AB5 dispute gets settled with independent truckers.
For the first round of construction, Arizona hauled in 60 shipping containers, welded them shut and double-stacked them. Once positioned in place without gaps, they’re “topped with four feet of razor wire.”
Anyone trying to breach it will need a 22 foot ladder. They aren’t moving anywhere at 9,000 lbs. per section. It’s clear to everyone living along the border that Joe Biden has a “lack of urgency on border security.” One more like a “dereliction of duty.”
The feds won’t deliver
“For the last two years,” Ducey snarled, “Arizona has made every attempt to work with Washington to address the crisis on our border. Time and time again we’ve stepped in to clean up their mess.” They got a tiny little taste of it in D.C. and New York and all the sanctuary liberals lost their minds.
Border states “can’t wait any longer for the federal government to deliver on their delayed promises.” They weren’t just delayed, they were empty promises and lip service to start with. The global government has no use for local borders. Brussels calls the shots now.
Arizona’s border at the vulnerable stretch near Yuma will be secured over the weekend. It’s none too soon. “There have been more than 200,000 migrant encounters along the southern border in each of the last four months.” If that isn’t an invasion, nobody can figure out what is.
In the Yuma sector of Arizona alone, they had a “242% increase in encounters so far this fiscal year compared to last year.” It’s only going to get worse when Title 42 fades into the sunset.
Muriel Bowser and Eric Adams are screaming their heads off after only a few measly bus loads. Governor Ducey’s office confirmed “that nonprofits in Yuma County have been overwhelmed, with capacity ranging from 115-160%.” Arizona has been hammered with invading illegal immigrants for years.
Mayor Doug Nicholls was thrilled to see the shipping containers arrive. “Yuma has experienced the worst of the border crisis. We’re grateful to Governor Ducey for ingraining himself in this issue and finding solutions.“
