Fans of Wausau morning news anchor Neena Pacholke are still in shock.
The popular news anchor was found dead this week.
No cause of death has been given.
She’s Gone
Very little information was provided about Pacholke’s death.
Based on the announcement by the station, however, there is quite a bit of speculation that she may have taken her own life.
The station announced, “The entire team here at News 9 are absolutely devastated by the loss as we know so many others are as well. Neena loved this community and the people who lived here.
“She was a kind person with a big heart and a contagious smile and we will miss her greatly.”
That was followed up by an announcement about people struggling with mental health.
That is what started the rumors that she possibly took her own life.
Regardless of her cause of death, the local community is stunned.
Anchors like Pacholke are deeply rooted in these communities, so this death is more like the loss of a family member than a TV personality.
