BLM Poised to Burn Cities Down Over New Situation Similar To George Floyd

In what could have been a repeat of the George Floyd case, a Connecticut man with an extensive criminal history has been arrested for carrying massive quantities of fentanyl. Sylvester Edward of Norwalk Connecticut has been repeatedly apprehended on felony charges, each time being arrested again after being released on bond. If one of his many arrests goes wrong will this be the new Black Lives Matter rallying cry?

Massive fentanyl stash

Edward, who is a 31 year old black male, has been convicted of seven felonies and has accrued an impressive twenty arrests in total dating back to 2007.

Edward is currently out on a bond of $930,000 and, if his previous record is any indication, is presumably returning to his drug related enterprises.

Police executing a warrant at a property rented by Edward for this purpose discovered a huge stash of drugs and equipment for distribution.

Norwalk Police described their finding as “likely the largest amount of pure fentanyl that we have ever seized”. Dozens of bags of pure fentanyl and loose crack cocaine were discovered both in the property and on the person of the suspect.

Before this latest arrest, Edward fled in a vehicle and led police on a lengthy and hazardous high-speed pursuit.

This is one of several incidents in which Edward has resisted arrest, including other car chases and continued flight even after being tasered.

Another George Floyd waiting to happen?

The presence of such huge quantities of fentanyl, now known to have been the drug on which George Floyd fatally overdosed in an attempt to hide his stash from law enforcement, brings up the obvious similarities between the two cases.

Both individuals possessed extensive criminal records and made attempts to evade law enforcement and resist arrest.

Fortunately for Mr. Edward, his attempts to resist arrest have not resulted in his death or that of anyone else.

With such a enthusiastic criminal being repeatedly freed, however, it may only be a matter of time before disaster strikes. Whether Edward kills someone else in his wild evasion attempts or gets himself killed in the process, innocents will surely suffer for his actions.

It is well known that, no matter how extensive the criminal record, the Black Lives Matter campaign against police will ensure that if this fentanyl distributor dies in any one of his frequent encounters with the law, cities will burn again.

With police more constrained than ever in holding fighting crime of this nature, how many potential George Floyd incidents are still waiting to happen as the criminals become bolder and bolder?
