Neighbors aren’t sure that Rudy Farias has really been missing for the past eight years. For those following the story, after vanishing without a trace as a teen, the young man was recently rescued from some sort of horrible abuse. Nobody expected this shocking twist to the already bizarre tale.
Was Rudy really ‘missing?’
He was officially reported missing a full eight years ago but neighbors know him well. Residents of the Houston, Texas suburban subdivision are questioning the official narrative, “claiming they often saw him around the community.”
One thing is certain, the 25-year-old remains hospitalized and is clearly suffering from trauma now.
Kisha Ross and her family told local outlets they were “shocked to hear reports that Rudy Farias was located because they never knew he had been reported missing in 2015.” He hung out with them all the time.

“He used to come in my garage, chill with my cousin, son, and daughter,” Ross relates. New York Post notes that “civil court records that indicate Farias’ mother lives on the same street in northeast Houston.”
“That boy,” Ross relates, “has never been missing. He would go to the park by himself” once in a while. Kisha’s cousin, Broderick Conley, insists he and Farias “would hang out often” and had “laughing good times.”
They know him as “Dolph” which is an alternate of Rudolph besides Rudy and helpful for an alias. While he “had visited their home often but that they had not seen him in the past few weeks.” That must be when he acquired his serious injuries. He’s still not talking coherently.
Found beaten and bruised
Ross and her family aren’t the only ones in the vicinity to doubt the media reports. Another neighbor independently verified that “he has seen Farias living at his mom’s home for years.” Seeing it on the news was startling.
“I was just shocked someone over here was missing — and we see him. It’s shocking to everyone.” Recently, the young man “was found beaten and bruised outside a church.” An unrelated “good Samaritan” dialed 911.
Reports note that “Farias was still wearing the necklace of his brother, who died in a 2011 motorcycle accident, and was nonverbal.” His mother, Janie Santana told reporters, “my son Rudy is receiving the care he needs to overcome his trauma, but at this time, he is nonverbal and not able to communicate with us.”

Once they get him patched up and calmed down he should have an interesting story to tell. Whether missing or not, he’s been reported as such and police will want to clear that up real quick.
Before he was dumped at the church by someone, Farias was clearly beaten because the bruises are extensive. He also has some sort of puncture wounds in his feet and other obvious signs of torture. He’s also continuing to insist he’s only 14-years-old and has a different name. Those are signs of intense mental abuse.
Police are absolutely convinced that Rudy is the victim of something and they’re going to be real interested in learning how the family can claim him missing, while the neighbors spot him all the time. It sure doesn’t add up.
