Church Goers and Entire Neighborhood Suffer Wrath of Chicago Mayor

Chicago is run by liberals and they’ll enforce rules to drive home a point. You will lose your freedom if you insist on ignoring the rules. Church members had escaped communism only to see it reappear in their home in the United States where you have the freedom to worship. The Philadelphia Romanian church has been hit again. This time the governor is taking out the neighborhood as well. Maybe angry neighbors will help keep those religious people in line.

For the first weeks of the coronavirus, it was “flatten the curve”, make sure hospitals weren’t overwhelmed. Well, now hospitals are not overwhelmed to the point of needing to lay people off. We were all told to expect millions of people passing away from this. We relied on models since we didn’t know what would happen. Now we have data to suggest the death toll from the models was greatly inflated.

Liberals don’t care for religion or churches

Religion or churches represent something bigger than man. Man in his arrogance can’t deal with that. If the power that man loves is at stake, efforts to keep that power can include death.

Retaliation, intimidation, denial and lies are all part of the guidelines for keeping a church or anybody the liberals don’t like in line. Whole neighborhoods were towed simply for being nearby

The pastor of the Romanian church said, “The mayor is inciting hate against the church which is very sad. A lot of our members risked their lives to escape Communism, only to find it germinating in 2020 under Mayor Lightfoot in Chicago. We prayed for the mayor and the governor almost every evening since March 19. We will continue to pray for them. Yet, we are also aware of our constitutional rights. Their effort to intimidate us will make us stronger.”

Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot also threatened to withhold federal funds if orders weren’t obeyed. Neither are explaining the logic behind towing whole neighborhoods. We can only guess at compounding the intimidation factor.

The church is being accused of “only caring about money”

With the exception of simply needing operating funds, money is commonly not a motivating factor. Yes, there are churches that worship money. But not all of them do.

A protestor against the church as noted by the Chicago Sun Times said, “This is really indicative of a clear, right-wing cult mentality that they have. They would rather keep themselves in business, keep themselves earning money, instead of caring about the residents of this neighborhood, which many of them, including the pastor, are not a part of.”

The point of most religions is people believing in something bigger than themselves. It’s one of many factors relating to human mental health, something particularly important during times of crisis.

The police are actually on the side of the church.

They’re refusing to enforce this. The IL Sheriff’s Association said, “It is outrageous that the Governor is threatening retaliation against these leaders and the men and women of their offices. He is insulting heroic police officers, corrections officers and local voters.” Don’t call it a police state. The police want no part of this. Pritzker is open to retaliation against the police as well.

How much pressure are Democratic governors under?

It can’t be comfortable. If it’s an impossible spot, step down. Over half (52%) of IL is Democrat. The districts were rearranged to make their power a super majority. Republicans don’t stand a chance.

The press is complicit, allowing Pritzker to have his sweeping power. NC filed suit against their governor and won. They cannot allow one set of rules for stores with the same amount of people and interactivity, another set for churches.
