The ongoing conflict in the Middle East is taking a toll on both sides, but this is especially the case for Lebanon’s Hezbollah terror group. Recently, seven of its fighters were killed in what they describe as their “road to Jerusalem” however, the group has yet to confirm the location of their deaths.
A Lebanese security official and a Hezbollah official both stated that they were killed in Syria this morning, November 10.
According to the Lebanese media, the 7 Hezbollah members whose deaths were announced today were killed in an Israeli attack on their site in Homs, Syria, in response to the drone attack on Eilat yesterday. https://t.co/ZlBnLkSWbV pic.twitter.com/M6lgh0HFT9

Syrian media outlets are reporting an Israeli airstrike on the central province of Homs early Friday. Since October 8th, Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging fire across the Lebanon-Israel border.
These latest reported fatalities bring to total number of dead from the Israel-Hamas war up to 68 since it began last month.
Hezbollah has been fighting alongside the Syrian government forces for many years now, as part of their mission to tip the balance of power in favor or President Bashar al-Assad during Syria’s long standing 12 year conflict with rebel forces.
It is clear that their presence in Syria has opened them up to attacks from opposing sides which could ultimately lead to further losses if not dealt with carefully and swiftly by global leaders who are familiar with this volatile region.
Today’s announcement from Hezbollah followed an attack by a drone launched from Syria onto Red Sea city Eilat – prompting Israel to retaliate with strikes on various locations within Syria itself. This incident marks yet another escalation in tensions between Israel and its adversaries which could potentially lead to further destruction if not addressed promptly by both sides.
This is a developing story.
