God bless New Yorkers, they’re incredibly tough. President Trump will do what he can to help Americans. He’s invoking the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 to pull the pork out of the budget and get money into the hands of everyday Americans to keep a roof over their head. Trump wants to remain legal in the face of lawlessness. Pressure needs to be put on Congress to do what’s right. The problem is at the very least Pelosi.
Trump knows what we’re up against
Democrats won’t give an inch so Trump can look good. The only way they’ll give is if Biden is in office, then they’re suddenly “willing to work together”. Not after four years of fighting us, no! Conservatives give as good as they get. It WILL come back to bite you!
Trump has said from the beginning that Democrat states need to open up. He wants to get funds into the hands of people that need it. He doesn’t want to bail out Democrat run states.
Trump calling the Impoundment Control Act into play
The Act allows, “whenever the President determines that all or part of any budget authority will not be required to carry out the full objectives or scope of programs for which it is provided, or that such budget authority should be rescinded for fiscal policy or other reasons (including termination of authorized projects or activities for which budget authority has been provided), the President shall transmit to both Houses of Congress a special message”
There are going to be so many underhanded things taking place in an effort to make a Congressperson look good while doing something entirely different behind closed doors. This is why so many hired Trump, we’re fed up with this!
Trump wants more for Americans
He thought the $600 was ridiculous, he wanted double that. It wasn’t til he blasted the Democrats that Pelosi tweeted that she was open to the $2,000.
The only problem is there’s nothing forcing Democrats or Congress to do anything. Trump can demand all he wants. Congress can run out the clock, thus keeping the signed bill intact and passing the way it is.
