When you have a government official that breaks the law, they need to be made an example of.
Unfortunately, what usually happens is what happened with former Biden official Sam Brinton.
After showing a pattern of nefarious behavior, Brinton got off with a slap on the wrist and was sent on his way.
What’s the Message
Brinton, if you may recall, was one of the men in the Biden administration that likes to wear dresses.
He also likes to steal other people’s luggage from the carousel at airports.
He has been caught twice, and lied about it.
Any jail time would have sent a message, but it was not in the cards.
Brinton was ordered to pay almost $3,700 in restitution for the items that he stole.
The sweetheart plea deal also lessened the charge from a felony to a misdemeanor, given only a suspended sentence.
