The Harker Heights Police Department in Texas is investigating the mysterious murder of a soldier. He was stationed at Fort Hood, also the home base of Vanessa Guillen, who has been missing for a full month now.
Someone called the Harker Heights Police around 10:15 a.m. on Monday to report “a deceased person” in the 2100 block of Fuller Lane. They sent a unit to check it out but didn’t find a body. The mystery deepened when a few minutes later a vehicle fire was reported.
What is so strange is that it was over a mile and a half away by car from the reported body, where Douglas Fir dead ends in gravel at Jubilation Drive. The police soon discovered what turned out to be the 2016 Jeep Renegade owned by 27-year-old Pfc. Brandon Rosecrans. His life came to a dead end there too.
One soldier murdered, one missing, no clues
Fort Hood Texas is suddenly becoming a dangerous place, especially for our servicemen and women. One soldier has been missing for a month, now local law enforcement have a murder on their hands.
The vehicle fire was suspicious enough but they don’t believe that Private Rosecrans shot himself in the head. They’re really wondering who reported the body in the wrong location and why.
The Harker Heights police are working in tandem with the fire department to investigate both a murder and an arson case. The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command was also called in to lend a hand.
Rosecrans had previously been awarded with decorations including the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
Rosecrans and his jeep were miles away from Fort Hood when discovered. He’s assigned to the Army’s 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. Similar to Vanessa Guillen, who worked doing small arms repair, Rosecrans is a “quartermaster and chemical equipment repairer.” Hailing from Kimberling City, Missouri, the PFC joined up in November of 2018.
Deepest regrets to the family
His commander issued a statement offering condolences to the family. “Command Sgt. Maj. Ryan McLane and I would like to express our deepest regrets to the family and loved ones,” Col. Kevin Capra said in a statement. “The thoughts and prayers” of every soldier in the 215th Brigade Support Battalion and the Greywolf Brigade “are with them during this difficult time.”
Anyone with any information is urged to contact authorities. Harker Heights police stress that “all information disclosed is confidential and anonymous.”
They also note, “anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible to receive up to $1,000 in a cash reward.” There’s a much bigger reward out for Vanessa Guillen too.
If these people are from the same base the police should find out if there was an affair which is kinda hard to hide with so many male soldiers around who might be jealous that one of them has an affair going on while they don’t. After all there aren’t that many woman on bases to take care of the men. And maybe the girl had a guy who found out she was not totally his and took care of her first and than the other guy. Than there is always the full blown hate that democrats seem to have with conservatives who disagree with them and among the democrats a lot of ex democrats in the Clinton administration have been shot in the head right before a court appearance against the Clintons. And this soldier a outspoken conservative shows up with a head shot. Look at that guy who was just pulled from the ocean shot in the head. It’s getting dangerous being against these democrats and their communist way of ridden themselves of their enemies. And than it could be a serial killer situation. There was a few years back another base that had a problem with soldiers being killed and it was not solved and stopped all of a sudden. Maybe the killer was transferred or something. Just wondering.
The Howdy-Doody police department will NEVER solve this murder.
They’re worse than Barney Fife. A friend of mine had her grand-daughter shot and killed by her boyfriend and they didn’t even prosecute him. They knew who killed her and the police wouldn’t do anything about it. About all they can do is drive around giving people tickets in between eating donuts and sodas. I live in Killeen and my sister lives in Harker Heights. I’ve witnessed their buffoonery for years.
There’s alot of different gangs in the army and they bumping each other all the time . Gang wars still go on even in the army . Not all missing in action are really missing in action . Their way layed in some ditch by someone they pissed off . In nam some MIA’S are victims of this . The army isn’t what it used to be
