Man Goes Snorkeling and Makes an Absolutely Terrifying Find…

There are many people out there that have experienced snorkeling and would likely agree it’s a thrilling activity, as you get to see a brand new underwater world.

And while you’re bound to make some surprising discoveries below the surface of the water, one man got a lot more than he bargained for…

Martin Sholl experienced a disturbing incident when he was snorkeling in the Colorado River nearby the Arziona-California border.

Just as he was navigating his underwater exploration, he stumbled upon two skeletons tied to lawn chairs on the bottom of the river.

Sholl immediately contacted police following the discovery of the human remains and a diver from the Buckskin Fire Department was dispatched.

Luckily, the diver’s footage actually revealed two phony corpses fastened to the lawn chairs.

Apparently, the two fake skeletons sit lounge in the lawn chairs, wearing sunglasses while another sports a wig.

It can be assumed that the props had gone undiscovered for some time given the thick layer of sediment on them.

“Someone went to a lot of trouble to make sure they didn’t go floating away,” La Paz County Sheriff Lt. Curt Bagby said.

Sholl was shocked to discover that his finding was on national news.

“Skeleton tea party,” Sholl said. “It was funny. The next day when my friend called and told me that the chaos I created was on every morning show in the country, I was shocked.”

“Although the call itself was resource intensive, both the Sheriff’s Office and Buckskin Fire were happy to find that the remains weren’t real and thanked the reporting party for making the call,” the La Paz Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook along with the video.

The skeletons have become an instant tourist attraction following the incident.
