Kamala Harris is finally going to sit down for an interview. She’s deigned to take questions from the media who really haven’t pressed the issue on purpose. She’ll be sitting down with friendly Dana Bash to do a one-on-one with a babysitter. She’s shooting for being the leader of the free world but she’s not capable of doing an interview alone. She needs a man to come to her rescue. Where are the feminists?
Kamala is weak
CNN’s conservative commentator Scott Jennings pointed this out.
“I think it‘s incredibly weak, weak sauce to show up with your running mate. The fact that they don‘t have enough confidence in her to let her sit herself, the actual top of the ticket, and do a single interview. In fact, I think the hand wringing and the gyrations over this, over the last month, show a troubling lack of confidence in her political ability, which also makes you wonder as a voter, ‘Well, what kind of president would you be if this kind of a small-time decision, can we do an interview or not, what does that look like for your decision-making process?’”
Jennings is right and it’s glaringly obvious. It’s not unlike CNN’s coverage of Joe Biden’s mind falling apart. Nothing was done til it became glaringly obvious.
Suddenly questions started up. Then the June 27 debate and post-debate analysis happened, shaking Democrats to the point of starting the pressure to demand Biden step down.
The dumpster fire before Kamala
Calling for a sitting president to resign within days of that disaster was unprecedented. But CNN denied Biden’s decline for two election cycles.
Until they didn’t. Then the emergency brake was yanked and they sped away in the opposite direction, suddenly covering his decline like they were making up for lost time.
CNN has been silent about Harris’ lack of interaction with the press. She’s busy! She’s suddenly in the number one spot after her boss broke up with America via text message!
Kamala not answering questions
She’ll answer them eventually. Among the distractions mentioned are the press encourages people to look at the crowds she’s drawing in Atlanta, Phoenix and Detroit.
People were happy when she promised to do an interview before September with a friendly crowd. But you don’t agree to said interview with your running mate.
CNN isn’t critical to virtually any Democrat but this arrangement didn’t sit well with anybody at the network. Dana Bash might push harder on her but the Harris image is set as being a discombobulated, frazzled, paralyzed verbal and mental wreck that can’t take adversarial questioning alone.
