The grief of a mother who has lost a child is profound and leaves a hole. The mother who lost a daughter at the hands of an illegal alien let her fury be known at the president and the Secretary of Homeland Security. Morin responded on “The Ingraham Angle” to an interview Mayorkas did on CNN about the suspect’s arrest. It’s no surprise that the killer is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador.
Morin and the nation’s fury
Rachel Morin, Patty’s daughter, was reported missing Aug. 5, 2023 when she didn’t return from a hike in Bel Aire, Maryland. USA Today found her body in a culvert the next day, raped and murdered.
The suspect, Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, was arrested in Oklahoma. He’s 23 years old and a suspected gang member.
He came in through the wide open border allowed by both Biden and Mayorkas. Morin was a 37 year old mother of five that joins a club with dubious honor.
Mayorkas said her criticism was political
Jim Acosta interviewed Mayorkas. The answer was mechanical.
“Jim, first and foremost our hearts break for the children. The families, the loved ones, the friends, of the individual who was, uh, murdered.”
He couldn’t say her name. Danced right around it. Both mother and daughter are now objects rather than human beings.
“The woman. The mother”. Patty Morin and Ingraham were completely disgusted. Mayorkas denies any responsibility for Rachel’s death.
This has nothing to do with politics
Morin spoke with Ingraham, “It’s a completely political statement because they’re not even willing to acknowledge that she was a female, a mother, a daughter. It totally depersonalizes her. And makes her an object.”
Mayorkas seemed to defend his government and himself rather than showing any remorse. “A criminal is responsible for the criminal act. The criminal who committed this heinous act should be held accountable to the full extent of the law. And forcefully so. That is my response.”
This might be true but it all misses the point. On his office door, his business cards, anything to do with him will say “Homeland Security” on it. This has to do with the “security” of his and our “homeland”. Keeping murderous foreigners out of the United States is his job.
