Biden surrendered his Presidential podium to an illegal immigrant. His pro-migrant progressives are worried enough so he invited Mexican national Javier Quiroz Castro to speak. Progressives think the United States isn’t a nation of Americans but rather a nation that should lift up millions of migrants, regardless what Americans think. The president needs the progressive base.
Biden needs a lot of help
He needs swing states such as Michigan and Wisconsin. He needs those same progressives to be enthusiastic enough to campaign for Democrats up and down the nation’s ballots.
The Mexican national spoke at the podium. “My resilient parents brought me to this country [ilegally, at age 3] to give me a chance at a better future … They are a symbol of the American dream and they helped me with my dream. It is a privilege to personally thank President Biden for delivering on his promise to protect American families like mine.”
When the president took the podium back he said, “We’re a much better and stronger nation because of dreamers like Javier. We’re a nation of immigrants”. He wants to fast track illegal immigrants into jobs needed by American graduates.
A new Biden amnesty plan
The uncapped H-1B program allows amnesty for illegal migrants married to citizens. The current United States population consists of roughly 280 million that are native born.
Our immigrant population consists of 50 million people. Among them are naturalized American citizens, non-voting legal residents, temporary visa workers, and perhaps 15 million illegals.
Progressives praise and celebrate immigrants over independent, uncooperative Americans. Among the methods used to do this is calling migrants “dreamers”, as if Americans don’t have dreams. Americans might have dreams but Democrats don’t respect them.
Jill Biden is on the same page
She said our American communities are “are stronger because of the immigrants who call them home, for the thousands of families who have added their bright and beautiful threads to our American tapestry.” She directed her empathy toward the illegals. “All you want is to give your child all the possibility of the world, but hanging over you is a shadow, a missing piece of paper, the possibility that your family may not be able to stay together: It’s a story that too many families all across the country live every day.”
The invited progressives as well as those around the nation cheered on the pro-migrant message. They’ll praise immigration regardless that the policies suck the life out of American wallets.
The Washington Post was excited. “The announcement at the White House captured a rare moment of Democratic joy on immigration.” Progressive allies in business also get workers who demand less. As Biden put it, “It’s good for business.”
