There’s more going on here than what meets the eye. Once the verdict was announced, among other things, Hunter is still under the president’s protection because the president needs protection too. The evidence states Biden’s son pimped dad globally for access and influence. Adversaries funneled millions to both. Hunter’s access made him worth a $30,000 payment from a Ukraine energy company.
The verdict is political
Blake Masters, Arizona Republican congressional candidate, tweeted out, “Hunter Biden made millions of dollars as an unregistered foreign agent, but the DOJ doesn’t want you focused on that. So they gave him a smaller firearms charge, just so the Democrats can claim ‘nobody is above the law’ while covering for the Bidens’ corruption.”
This implicates both of them. End Wokeness also wrote on X, “Hunter Biden is a red herring. The real person of interest in the Ukraine bribery/laundering is the Big Guy. We all know exactly who that is.”
The president needs to be sheltered from his own foreign bribery charges which are much more involved. The proof of them were on display on Hunter’s own laptop.
He needs this verdict
Hunter’s ex-wife and ex-lovers testified to his rampant drug abuse around the time the gun was purchased in 2018. Naturally, Garland’s Justice Department desperately tried to avoid the conviction.
But this same Justice Department that throws everything it can at Trump steps carefully around the current White House occupant.
Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk posted on X that, “Hunter Biden guilty. Yawn. The true crimes of the Biden Crime Family remain untouched. This is a fake trial trying to make the Justice system appear ‘balanced.’ Don’t fall for it.”
Media covers up the verdict
Legacy media isn’t going to talk about this either. Since the Justice Department is bent on the Biden family protection, it’s unlikely the whole thing will be looked at legally at all.
But with Hunter’s life history even Garland-biased prosecutors couldn’t ignore ALL of it. The minor charges couldn’t go away because last year’s sweetheart deal fell through.
Because the election is coming up, the bigger story has to be kept quiet. The gun charges were the least the DOJ could do and get away with it in an election year.
