I remember when I was going to school, it seemed like the teachers that we had were some of the most honest people that you could ever find anywhere.

I mean, if a teacher told you something, it stood to reason that it was the truth. If a teacher did something, chances are it was something you could emulate and be safe in the idea that you were doing the right thing.

It’s amazing what people try to get away with, even on the smallest of scales.

Whether it be the people who try to scam the self-checkout at grocery stores or folks that ask for refunds on things that they have ordered online that were in perfect working order; people are trying to cheat just a little more with each passing day.

At the end of the day, you should pay for what you buy. No exceptions. You buy a small soda at a fast food place, you grab the small cup. We’re supposed to be the ones at our ages teaching the ones that will come after us what’s right and wrong.

If kids see us not paying what we are supposed to, then they will grow up to think it’s ok to commit outright robbery.

Our education system is pretty much screwed thanks to liberals. However, when things aren’t doing so hot the logical thing to do is look at what other places are doing and see what they are doing that we can adapt to our system of doing things.

A recent story out of Japan, while it may be a bit on the harsh side, highlights the fact that there need to be consequences for when people do wrong.

A junior high principal in Takasago, Japan was getting coffee at a small convenience store. He buys a regular-sized coffee, but when he goes to fill it he hits the button that one would have pressed had they paid for a large.

The clerk behind the counter saw this and he asked the principal exactly what in the world he thought he was doing. Then the man admitted that he had probably done this about a dozen times over a period of time.

So, then the cops get called and after looking into it, his school fired him. Yes, they fired him over stealing fifty cents from this small corner store.

Now, I know you might be thinking that losing your job over the theft of fifty cents might be a bit harsh. There are even some in Japan that are saying this.

However, if there is one thing that children all over the world need to be taught it is that there are consequences for your actions. If only liberals saw things this way, we wouldn’t have to look to Japan for how to deal with our crumbling school system.
