CNN asked Trump to appear at one of their Town Halls recently. He’s holding his ground on what he believes and thinks. Anchor Kaitlin Collins is among those involved in fake news that will refuse to acknowledge what Trump believes. She pushed him about the classified documents incident, also refusing to compare it to Biden’s similar incident. The audience was happy to hear Trump’s retorts.
Trump hit back
Through the cross talk he let her know what he thought, “You’re a nasty person, I’ll tell ya.” For years at least CNN was unrelenting in their unflattering news coverage.
Trump was offered a deal he couldn’t refuse and CNN is desperate for ratings so he was willing to appear. Maybe it would be great, maybe it would be a disaster. Either way he was fine with it.

Questions focused backward
Trump was asked again about the 2020 election claims, various other challenges and the rape case brought by E. Jean Carroll. He again said there were a lot of things that happened in 2020 to converge to push him out of the White House.
Among them was the role of social media and that a number of intelligence veterans signed a letter to cast doubt on the Hunter Biden laptop. He repeated again about his role in the US Capitol breach and he brought evidence of tweets he’d taken screen shots of.
“I’ll meet with Putin. I’ll meet with Zelensky. They both have weaknesses, and both have strengths and within 24 hours that war will be settled.”

Trump would pardon prisoners
He’d likely pardon most of the January 6 defendants. He also denied knowing Carroll the day after being found liable for sexually abusing and defaming her but not but liable for rape. “She’s a whack job”.
The Town Hall was made up of Republicans and undeclared voters. Trump reminded people of his Second Amendment convictions, energy policy and keeping our southern border secure. He thought the Democrats would eventually cave on the debt ceiling fight.
