A good person with a gun stops a bad person with a gun again. These are just the latest incidences. One was in Houston, the other in Florida. Yes, sometimes you do need that semi automatic. You might be outgunned or handicapped in some way. In the Florida case, the woman was heavily pregnant. If the Second Amendment wasn’t there, the people in these two events might not be alive anymore.
The Second Amendment helps innocent people
These were people that committed no offense. A Houston woman was being stalked. She moved away to avoid him.
But he followed and found her. She moved to Harris County, TX and on May 30 he forcibly entered.

The Second Amendment kept her alive
His entry to her new apartment told her he meant her harm. He kicked in the door. She probably feared for her life so she shot him in the chest.
Officers found the evidence. The door frame was damaged and the stalker was pronounced dead. There were other people in the apartment at the time. So far the investigation has shown her weapon was legal.
The Second Amendment evens the odds
In 2019 in Lithia, Florida a woman who was eight months pregnant used an AR-15 to protect herself and family. The woman’s husband, Jeremy King, said two armed men entered their home. The intruders grabbed their 11 year old daughter and demanded everything they had.
The armed men pistol whipped and kicked him. His wife heard the chaos and grabbed her husband’s AR-15 and opened fire. King said, “When he came toward the back door in her line of sight, she clipped him. He made it from my back door to roughly 200 feet out in the front ditch before the AR did its thing.”
The Second Amendment is indeed absolute
One intruder died, the other ran away. King was grateful he and his family were alive, “Them guys came in with two normal pistols and my AR stopped it. [My wife] evened the playing field and kept them from killing me.”
But the Biden administration is screaming to remove firearms from law abiding citizens under the guise of “protecting children”. It’s all political.
