Assassinations and attempts have happened throughout United States history and it happened again. Nicholas John Roske, 26, was taken into custody in the early morning hours. Roske was upset over abortion being returned to the states and that gun laws wouldn’t be addressed. He took a taxi to Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home. He planned to break in, kill Kavanaugh and take his own life.
Kavanaugh was protected
By two US Marshals standing close by. Supreme Court spokeswoman Patricia McCabe made a statement, “The man was armed and made threats against Justice Kavanaugh. He was transported to Montgomery County Police 2nd District.”
Roske got to Kavanaugh’s home and after finding the marshals, decided to turn himself in. He called 911 and said he was armed and suicidal.
DOOCY: "These activists posted a map with the home addresses of the Supreme Court justices. Is that kind of thing this president wants…?"

Taking the Justice’s life
Would have “given his life meaning”. The complaint said, “Roske stated that he began thinking about how to give his life a purpose and decided that he would kill the Supreme Court Justice after finding the Justice’s Montgomery County address on the internet.”
He was upset over the recent leaked draft of Samuel Alito’s opinion that Roe v Wade should be over turned. Roske was also upset over the recent shootings and feared Kavanaugh would weaken gun laws. He bought the gun for one purpose, to shoot Kavanaugh. Did he get the weapon through legal channels?
2 years and 3 months after Chuck Schumer threatened Brett Kavanaugh from the steps of the Court, a lunatic shows up to his house with a gun hoping to kill him.
Pretty clear line from that through encouraging protestors at Justice’s homes to real danger.https://t.co/vlq7OxeZz8

Kavanaugh and other justices
Would benefit from added security but the current administration has encouraged this activity in more than one way. Jen Psaki brushed off concerns of people protesting outside justice’s homes. Chuck Schumer threatned him two years ago and the Democrats have stalled a bill that would increase the justice’s security.
Senator John Cornyn, (R-TX), reminded the Democrats that inaction on this is their tacit approval. “The arrest of this individual proves these threats to the Justices’ lives are horrifyingly real, and it’s unconscionable for House Democrats to leave their families without police protection for even one more day. Speaker Pelosi must keep the House in session until they pass my bill. Every day they don’t the threat to the Justices grows, the potential for tragedy becomes more likely, and House Democrats achieve a new apex of political dysfunction.”
Kavanaugh is one target
Since that draft opinion was leaked the feds have been on the alert for pro-abortion activities. Homeland Security circulated a bulletin last month warning of threats to “burn down or storm” the Supreme Court building. Threats to lawmakers, churches and abortion clinics “are likely to persist and may increase leading up to and following the issuing of the Court’s official ruling.”
Abortion rights activists are not above terrorist activities. They want a “summer of rage”. Protestors have gathered outside justice’s homes and there’s been more than one attack on pro-life pregnancy centers.
