Leftist activists began calling for the hospitalized Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to resign or be impeached after text messages between his wife and also former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows were uncovered discussing initiatives to prevent the certification of the unconstitutional 2020 Election.
The Washington Post recently obtained loads of texts that Virginia (Ginni) Thomas sent to Meadows in the wake of Trump’s election loss. In the messages, she identified the loss as a “heist”.
Mrs. Thomas wrote to Meadows: “Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!!…You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.”
The text messages became part of the 2,320 messages that Meadows offered to the House pick committee checking out the events of Jan. 6.
In an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, she has actually rejected any kind of conflict of interest between her activism as well as her hubby’s work with the Supreme Court.
“Clarence doesn’t discuss his work with me, and I don’t involve him in my work,” she said.
Critics have spoken up as well as required Justice Thomas to surrender.

“If he refuses, Congress must move to impeach him,” she added.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota echoed the telephone call for Thomas’ impeachment.

(Perhaps Justice Thomas should urge the DoJ to look into immigration fraud law specifically where it involves marrying a sibling to sneak them into the US.)
The US House of Representatives can impeach a Supreme Court justice with a simple-majority vote, but a two-thirds majority is required for a sentence and removal in the Senate, the same as a Presidential impeachment.
Thomas is one of the most senior associate justice on the Supreme Court. He was nominated for the post by former President George H. W. Bush to replace Justice Thurgood Marshall.
Before taking the bench in the Supreme Court, Thomas served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit starting in 1989.
He is the second-oldest Supreme Court justice after Justice Stephen Breyer, who is 73-years-old. Thomas is also the oldest and most conservative justice on the right-leaning side of the bench.
