Four anarchist punks were sentenced last week for deliberately and successfully trapping and bombing a police officer in Arvada, Colorado, last year. Instead of issuing a penalty that reflects the severity of the crime, in order to send a harsh warning to today’s Black Lives Matter anarchists, The judge let all four men walk free with only token slaps on the wrist. Blue lives apparently don’t matter that much in the Colorado court system anymore.
Sentenced to detention
After the ambush and attempted murder of a cop, four young anarchists were sentenced to what amounts to detention. All four were over 18 at the time of the incident yet the Judge gave a classic “boys will be boys,” ruling and a bare minimum slap on the wrist. Two of the men, Gavin Beret Dawson and Maxwell Cade McCann, pleaded guilty in May to Attempted Second Degree Assault of a Peace Officer – Toxic Caustic Device and were ordered into probation for two years. They each got slapped with 60 days “in the jail’s Alternative Sentencing Program, which includes jail work release and in-home detention.”
Braiden John Ulmer got sentenced to a similar deal with only 30 days in detention on the same charges, while Isaac Carl Koch, who entered his plea last December, was only charged with Conspiracy to Possess an Explosive/Incendiary Device and was provided with a two-year deferred judgment and postponement of his final sentence. This tells all the Black lives Matter anarchists that it’s fine to cook up improvised munitions and deliberately use them on the police. The worst that will happen is you will get stuck home playing x-box for two months.
Meanwhile, the unwary officer, who was only trying to remove an obstruction in the roadway as part of providing law and order to local citizens as expected, is sentenced to “serious pulmonary damage” and “months going to medical appointments and missing work.”
We are glad the good samaritan in this case is okay. We hope these young men take advantage of lessons learned here. https://t.co/lo98SDxj84

Clearly an ambush targeting police
At the hearing when the men were sentenced, officers of the Arvada Police Department passionately addressed the judge to describe “the impact this had on the officer, the entire department, and the community.” After the initial attack, “a Code Red was issued for a one-mile radius in Arvada.” “These men set up an ambush for police. When the first Arvada officer arrived to clear away the road hazard, he was a fixed target for their toxic chemical bombs” explained District Attorney Pete Weir. “These young men purchased the chemicals and plastic bottles at Walmart, mixed the bombs and then set up their targets for ambush. The impact on the law enforcement community has been enormous.”
Back in the mist of time, on April 7, 2019, before Covid and Antifa inspired anarchy, one of the citizens called the cops to report “a road hazard at 72nd and Beech Street.” When a solo officer arrived at the scene, he found “street signs had been pulled out of ground and stacked in middle of the road, then plastic wrap had been strung across the road.”
While the concerned citizen helped the officer to clear the barricade, “a plastic bottle was thrown and landed near the Officer.” The policeman, prosecutors explained before the men were sentenced, knew he was intentionally ambushed because he “overheard someone yell obscenities at him.” When “the bottle hit the ground it began releasing heavy chlorine gas. The Officer began coughing, became nauseous, lost consciousness, and fell to the ground. Other officers and paramedics arrived and the Officer was transported to the hospital.” The punks detonated at least seven more of the devices.
