DeSantis Campaign OVER… It’s DONE!

The Republican primary election for Tennessee is just around the corner.

A recent poll from Tennessee Beacon shows that former President Donald Trump has a 49-point lead over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the GOP primary race.

He also leads current President Joe Biden in general election polls for the state of Tennessee.

According to the poll, Trump leads DeSantis by an impressive 61 percent.

Former Vice President Mike Pence comes in at third place with 8 percent of votes, while other candidates are far behind at less than 5 percent each.

The undecided portion of Tennesseans comes up to 11 percent, which means there’s still room for movement among some voters before it’s all said and done.

The poll went on to analyze what would happen if the general election were held today between Trump and Biden.

If this were the case, 54 percent of Tennesseans would vote for Trump and 34 percent would choose Biden – leaving 11 percent undecided.

This two-percent swing from DeSantis to Trump appears to come from a small shift in Democrats who prefer voting for him instead of Biden – making this race even more competitive than ever before!

Real Clear Politics polling averages show that over the last few months, Trump has increased his lead over DeSantis significantly nationwide – sitting at 53 versus 20.9 percent respectively (with Pence trailing with 6.1).

Allies have spoken out about their concerns regarding these numbers; one spokesman from a pro-DeSantis PAC said that it will be an “uphill battle” for him as they try to make up lost points during their campaign run-up towards August 23rd’s first Republican debate – which could potentially affect voters’ decision even further!
