Hunter Biden did everything he could to avoid the perp walk, but it won’t work.
His legal team had filed a motion for Hunter to do a video arraignment.
The judge is watching everything like a hawk, and the motion was denied.
Can’t Do It
Donald Trump asked for a video arraignment in one of his cases, and he was denied.
That being the case, you better believe that a judge in this case was not going to stick his neck out to make Hunter’s life easier.
So, the lawyers did their thing, but I would bet the decision was made by Judge Burke long before he ever read a single line of the arguments.
His ruling stated, “In the end, the Court agrees with both Defendant … and the Government … that Defendant should not receive special treatment in this matter – absent some unusual circumstance, he should be treated just as would any other defendant in our Court.
“Any other defendant would be required to attend his or her initial appearance in person. So too here.”
Hunter’s legal team cried foul, of course.
Abbe Lowell, stated, “Hunter Biden possessing an unloaded gun for 11 day [sic] was not a threat to public safety, but a prosecutor, with all the power imaginable, bending to political pressure presents a grave threat to our system of justice.
“We believe these charges are barred by the agreement the prosecutors made with Mr. Biden, the recent rulings by several federal courts that this statute is unconstitutional, and the facts that he did not violate that law, and we plan to demonstrate all of that in court.”
Hunter Biden lied on purchaser forms for a firearm, which is undeniable.
By lying on the forms, he was in possession of a firearm illegally… that is undeniable.
There was no plea deal in place because the judge never approved it… that is undeniable.
Oh, and by the way, Joe Biden just formed a new gun violence office in his administration, yet Hunter Biden’s attorneys are saying that there was nothing wrong with his son owning a gun illegally.
If Hunter Biden is not sent to jail for this, it is just proof positive that we have two different justice systems in this country.
