Donald Trump warned about TikTok throughout his administration.
At times, it was mocked by Democrats as another maniacal rant.
As we have seen with many other things post-Trump, he was right.
To his credit, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) gave Trump his props for being right about this from the outset
He Was Right
Warner is the current Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
He stated, “This is not something you would normally hear me say, but Donald Trump was right on TikTok years ago.
“If your country uses Huawei, if your kids are on TikTok … the ability for China to have undue influence is a much greater challenge and a much more immediate threat than any kind of actual, armed conflict.”
Trump had issued an Executive Order against TikTok, which a federal judge later blocked.
Then, when Joe Biden took office, he outright rescinded the order.
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) added, “I told everyone years ago TikTok was a tool of communist China.
“And yet Biden invites TikTok’ influencers’ to the White House.”
The most recent of which was a transgender who believes he knows more about womanhood than biological women.
