The legal battle between former President Donald trump and Fulton County District Attorney continues to rage on. However, a recent court ruling serves as some good news for Trump and fellow Republicans. This case stands out as an example of why it is important that voters elect candidates that will uphold conservative values.

Elie Honig, CNN analyst and former federal prosecutor, has warned that Trump’s legal team may be able to move his case from state court to federal court.

There, they could potentially get the charges dismissed on the grounds that he was acting in an official capacity when he was charged with alleged election racketeering.

Honig argued that if duties are within the legitimate scope of those jobs then removal can be possible.

Unfortunately for Willis, this could leave her without a ‘star’ witness in her post-2020 election racketeering case.

The news came as a shock to many when Judge Scott McAfee ruled against prosecution in the case involving Donald Trump and 18 others who were accused of trying to overturn the results of the Georgia election last year.

McAfee severed both Chesebro and Powell from Trump and 16 other defendants which proved to be a major setback for Assistant DA Willis who had hoped to compel Donald Trump to stand trial alongside them in October.

According to ABC News Executive Editorial Producer John Santucci, “This is not a good day for the Fulton County DA.”

The ruling is being seen by many as a victory for Donald Trump who now has waived any right to speedy trial motion while also filing several motions to dismiss all charges against him.
