Leader of Chechnya Republic Breaks Silence on Russia’s Plans

Ramzan Kadyrov, the effective head of the Russian Republic of Chechnya, claimed early Monday that there will be an offensive by Russian forces and not just on the besieged port of Mariupol, but also on Kyiv as well as various other Ukrainian cities.

“There will be an offensive … not only on Mariupol but also on other places, cities, and villages,” Kadyrov said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.

“Luhansk and Donetsk – we will fully liberate in the first place … and then take Kyiv and all other cities.”

Kadyrov, who has often described himself as Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “foot soldier,” stated there should be no question about Kyiv.

“I assure you: not one step will be taken back,” Kadyrov said.

He wrote via Telegram,

“On the combat sector, entrusted to dear BROTHER, State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov, everything is in order. Fighters from the Chechen Republic, together with the military personnel of the Russian Federation and Donbass, are successfully fulfilling the tasks set by the leadership of our state in strict accordance with the plan.

The success of the ongoing special operation in the Donbass and Ukraine lies primarily in the clarity of actions, the correct decision-making and the strictest discipline in the ranks of the defenders of the Fatherland.”

“There is no doubt that all the tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in Ukraine will be fulfilled at the highest level. To do this, we will do everything possible and impossible!”

Kadyrov has been repetitively accused by the United States as well as European Union of rights misuses, which he denies.

Moscow fought 2 battles with separationists in Chechnya, a primarily Muslim region in southern Russia, after the 1991 separation of the Soviet Union. However it has given that poured massive amounts of cash into the region to restore it and given Kadyrov a large action of freedom.

The Kremlin defines its actions in Ukraine as a “special operation” to demilitarize and “denazify” its neighbor and on Sunday Russia escalated its attacks in eastern Ukraine.
