Expect this behavior to continue. We’re never going to know what Biden or any Democrat for that matter is going to say or do. Queen Pelosi needed Trump out so bad the United States was turned upside down for a Democrat to be in the White House. According to the press secretary, the original goal was to have kids back in school at least one day per week. It turns out Psaki was incorrect.
Biden wanted K-8 in some schools open
But not all. The only problem is a number of schools were already opened before he even took office. Critics have called his bar too low, such as with the vaccines. Democrats are probably fine with it and want the lock downs to continue.
“No, that’s not true. That’s what was reported; that’s not true. There was a mistake in the communication,” Biden responded at the CNN Townhall “But what I — what I’m talking about is I said opening the majority of schools in K-through-eighth grade because they’re the easiest to open, the most needed to be opened, in terms of the impact on children and families having to stay home. I think we’ll be close to that at the end of the first hundred days,”

Biden wanted the schools open in summer
Contradicting Psaki again. “My guess is they’re probably going to be pushing to open all summer to continue like it’s a different semester,” Biden said on the interview. The previous week, Psaki said, “And you’re right: Schools won’t be in session for the summer, but this is a pandemic we’re working to get under control, making progress every month. And we’re certainly hopeful that things will be — more kids will be back in school five days a week as quickly as it can safely happen.”
Jen then took to Twitter to clarify. “Last week I said @POTUS goal was to open schools five days a week as quickly as possible. And that we are going to rely on science. Which is exactly what we are doing,”
Biden’s mental capacity
Has to be accounted for. And since Democrats blocked a bill that would force the CDC numbers to be accurate, they can put up any numbers they want. Screw the science.
The science has already said kids don’t transmit the virus well. The rates in schools are lower than the community at large. The CDC is urging schools to reopen. But the Biden administration has the majority of K-12 schools under the toughest reopening guidelines.
