The two IRS agents that investigated Hunter Biden have come forward to testify during committee hearings this week.
IRS special agent Joseph Ziegler and his supervisor, Gary Shapley, literally left people with their jaws on the floor.
The testimony was so damning, even normally left-oriented publications that have ignored this story have covered it.
Explosive Testimony
The hearings were more or less a rehash of the 400 pages of testimony that the two men had already given.
So, there was nothing really new that came out, but it was interesting to hear these men testify before the cameras.
Democrats are obviously going to downplay the testimony.
For instance, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) stated, “I never met an agent who didn’t want to charge every possible case.
“But what I noticed in five hours of testimony today is that neither one of you has ever mentioned a portion of the case that may not be so strong, or may be suspect or may have a defense.
“And that’s because that’s what the prosecutor has to think about before charging a case.”
Republicans concentrated on the fact that it was pretty clear the powers that be were restricting these agents abilities to properly investigate the case.
And, while Shapley did not outright accuse Attorney General Merrick Garland of lying under oath about the investigation, he did have something say about.
He stated, “Let me be clear, although these facts contradict the attorney general’s testimony and raise serious questions for you to investigate, I have never claimed evidence that Attorney General Garland knowingly lied to Congress.
“This for others to investigate and determine whether those letters contain knowingly false statements. … I don’t claim to be privy to United States Attorney Weiss’s or Attorney General Garland’s communications.”
Ziegler added that he still believes there is more to this, stating, “I still think that a special counsel is necessary for this investigation.”

The GOP better come up with something on this or all these hearing and investigations are going to backfire on them come election day 2024.
They promised to bring corrupt Democrats to justice, and so far, we have zero to show for it other than some great TV.
