One of the bigger stories of the week was the Iran hacking story.
We knew that the Trump campaign had been hacked, but we did not know they had contacted the Biden-Harris campaign.
After three of our agencies confirmed the report, Donald Trump called on Kamala Harris to resign.
Time to Quit
Three agencies released a joint statement outlining the hacking of the Trump campaign as well as Iran attempting to hand over the files to the Biden campaign.
The government stated that, as far as they could tell, no Democrats responded to the emails.
That, however, did not stop Trump from going ballistic.
The former president posted on Truth Social, calling out Harris, posting, “WOW, JUST OUT! THE FBI CAUGHT IRAN SPYING ON MY CAMPAIGN, AND GIVING ALL OF THE INFORMATION TO THE KAMALA HARRIS CAMPAIGN. THEREFORE SHE AND HER CAMPAIGN WERE ILLEGALLY SPYING ON ME.
“TO BE KNOWN AS THE IRAN, IRAN, IRAN CASE! WILL KAMALA RESIGN IN DISGRACE FROM POLITICS? WILL THE COMMUNIST LEFT PICK A NEW CANDIDATE TO REPLACE HER?”
The next day, Donald Trump continued his attack, posting, “WHEN DOES KAMALA AND HER CAMPAIGN GO BEFORE A GRAND JURY ON IRAN, IRAN, IRAN? MY CAMPAIGN WHEN THROUGH HELL ON THE RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA HOAX. THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE IRAN/KAMALA CAMPAIGN CORRUPTION CASE IS REAL!”
Karoline Leavitt, the campaign’s National Press Secretary, added, “This is further proof the Iranians are actively interfering in the election to help Kamala Harris and Joe Biden because they know President Trump will restore his tough sanctions and stand against their reign of terror.
“Kamala and Biden must come clean on whether they used the hacked material given to them by the Iranians to hurt President Trump. What did they know and when did they know it?”
Harris has denied receiving or using any information from Iran, but who can trust what she says?
Again, why is the media not making more of this after the coverage Trump received after wrongly being accused of colluding with Russia?
And again, let’s not forget how cozy John Kerry was with Iran during the 2020 election cycle, in what should have been a violation of the Logan Act.
