A report has been blowing up all week regarding a very shady tactic that is being used by the Kamala Harris campaign.
They are rewriting headlines from news outlets and posting them as ads.
It is making it appear as though the media is gushing over Harris more so than they already are.
Dishonest
No outlet has been safe, big or small, and it could wind up getting Harris into trouble.
The outlets were not consulted and some of the outlets are furious Harris has done this.
She has used NPR, the Independent and a host of other news agencies, both national and local, in this ad campaign.
The Guardian, a very leftist publication, stated, “While we understand why an organization might wish to align itself with the Guardian’s trusted brand, we need to ensure it is being used appropriately and with our permission.
“We’ll be reaching out to Google for more information about this practice.”
There is at least one local outlet that is threatening to sue the Harris campaign over this.
Now, to this point, the Trump campaign has not engaged in such advertising, and I hope they don’t, because some outlets have actually called Harris out on this.
If and when Harris finally does an interview, I would love for the media to ask her about this as well as the many lies she is spewing in her ads and posts.
For instance, in a recent post on X, the campaign regurgitated the claim that Trump called neo-Nazis very fine people.
This claim has been debunked about a dozen times, including a recent report by the left-leaning Snopes that Trump’s comments were taken out of context and he did actually decry the racist group.
Perhaps that is why Harris is avoiding the media… if she never talks to them, she cannot be called out for her lies and nefarious acts.
