This young mother was making her way down her driveway when she heard an eerie, yet familiar sound. However, before she could react, something hit her hard. As she dropped to the ground in immense pain, she realized the mistake her family had made.
It was a Sunday afternoon when tragedy struck Alayna Walles George. While walking down her driveway with her mother, something hit her leg and left it severely wounded. Reflecting upon what had happened, Alayna was thankful she had been lucky and decided to warn others by sharing the story on Facebook.
Alayna recalled that she and her mom were walking down the driveway to check out the backyard when they heard an awful sound; then “it” hit her in the leg. She felt like she had been shot, even though she had never experienced such a feeling before; immediate immense pain surged through her thigh and knocked her to the ground.
When she looked down at herself, there was major bleeding coming from a large deep gash in her leg and the bruise immediately began to form around it. Even though she needed medical attention right away due to the intense pain, Alayna was thankful that none of the vital areas – face, head or chest- were affected by this blow as opposed to one of her children who could have faced fatal consequences if it had been them instead of her.
Alayna’s husband was finishing up one last small patch of grass mowing when they headed outside however despite being a good distance away from him -at least 20 feet away- something still managed to hurtle towards Alayna so hard it ripped through flesh causing severe damage to be done. After further investigation into what caused this accident it became apparent that it was because of a horseshoe which had been hidden and laying in their yard undetected until then; neither did anyone know how it got there since they don’t own horses or livestock on their property.
This made Alayna even more determined for others to learn from this unfortunate event so no one else would experience anything similar ever again.
