It appears things are looking so bad for Democrats that not even the liberal media can continue to play pretend. In a moment of brutal honesty, CNN admitted that the Democrat Party is in for a difficult struggle during the 2024 Election.
And with the news of Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announcing his retirement, it looks like things are only going to get worse for them in the 2024 Elections.
CNN Senior Data Reporter Harry Enten told audiences on the left-leaning network that Democrats could be in serious trouble during the next election cycle due to Manchin’s decision not to seek re-election. He pointed out that in addition to West Virginia, seven other states where Trump once won – Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Montana, and Arizona – will also be up for grabs.
Enten noted that Republicans have zero Senate seats in states Trump lost at least once while Democrats have seven; this puts them at an enormous disadvantage since they can only afford to lose one seat if they hope to remain competitive in Congress.
With Manchin stepping down from his post and Jim Justice – who has received President Donald Trump’s endorsement – waiting eagerly in the wings as a potential candidate for West Virginia’s senate seat, it looks like Republicans may gain control of Congress yet again come 2024.

If Republicans do manage to take control over Congress again come 2024, there could be some far reaching implications for both domestic and foreign policy within America. For starters, having a majority would grant them more leverage when it comes time for legislative debates on important issues such as healthcare reform or climate change legislation.
Also with Supreme Court nominations being decided by Senate confirmation hearings and votes; a Republican controlled Congress could mean more conservative leaning judges appointed by whoever winds up winning the Presidency in 2024.
