Senator Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) had yet another charge added to his existing indictment.
I think we could all ask what took so long for this to happen considering the nature of the other charges.
Menendez had acting as a foreign agent added to the mountainous indictment he faced for bribery-related charges.

Menendez has been corrupt virtually his entire time in office.
He beat a corruption rap a few years ago, which more than likely emboldened him even more.
This time around, they really caught him with the goods.
When his home was raided, they found almost $500,000 in cash and gold bars stashed all over his house.
There is also a Mercedes that was given to his wife, who was his girlfriend at the time.
The new charges stem from actions taken by Menendez to help Egypt secure a $300 million military aid package from the United States.
Menendez had ghost-written a letter to drum up support for the measure in the Senate.
If he beats this case, we might as well just give up hope that any corrupt politician will ever be held accountable.
