Joe Biden’s illegal aliens predictably bring in a deadly disease. Chicago health officials found tuberculosis in illegal border crossers staying in migrant shelters. The amount and how many shelters it’s been found in isn’t being revealed. The CDC says TB can be fatal and is spread through the air. There’s no vaccine for TB. It’s treated with antibiotics which the migrants will likely receive for free.
Another Chicago problem
The CDC also says that “the bacteria usually attack the lungs, but TB bacteria can attack any part of the body such as the kidney, spine, and brain.” Dr. Aniruddha Hazra is the associate professor of medicine at the University of Chicago. He said there’s no need to panic. “The people who are most at risk of tuberculosis are the other migrants living in that shelter.”
Chicago officials told people there’s no need to worry.
“To date, [the Chicago Department of Public Health] has not confirmed any reports of TB that resulted from exposure to new arrivals in Chicago. It is important to note that an estimated 10-20% of residents of Central and South America have latent TB infection, which is asymptomatic and not transmissible to others, but does result in a positive TB test. For those who do have active cases of TB disease, CDPH assigns a nurse case manager to each individual and performs a contact tracing investigation.”

Government is right on it
As many as 150 cases of TB are reported in the city every year as it is. Democratic Alderman Raymond Lopez didn’t like the Mayor being dismissive.
Lopez posted on X that “Performative politics & hurt feelings kept City Hall from avoiding the obvious looming disaster. Anyone who demanded action to protect our residents was called racist, xenophobic, and anti-immigrant by fringe politicians. And now here we are: measles, now tuberculosis both ‘confirmed’ in Chicago.”
Attacked for pointing out the obvious
The city has a huge outbreak of measles, most of which have been found in migrant shelters. Nationwide for the whole year of 2023, 58 cases were reported while Chicago has had 56 cases reported so far this year.
The United States had these diseases under control before Biden. The city is offering millions in freebies that attract illegals.
