The Atlanta Police Department recently reported on a female investigator with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office who’s gun discharged while at the Fulton County Courthouse, causing her to be wounded in the leg. Luckily, the incident was not severe, as she is said to be “alert, conscious, and breathing”.

With former President Donald Trump currently on trial for racketeering charges in this courthouse, many were understandably concerned by what had happened.

Various reports began to surface following this accident which indicated that an evacuation was ordered from the courthouse. However, officials quickly made it clear that no such evacuation had been issued and there also wasn’t any active threat present within the building.

The shooting was deemed to be accidental with Ash Joshi (a former prosecutor) confirming that “unfortunately for the investigator, she was the one who was shot.”

Typical security measures have since been increased due to Mr Trump’s current trial taking place therein however it is unknown if these new precautions are warranted or not given last week’s events being isolated incidents.

Lin Wood – a lawyer representing former President Donald Trump – has recently come out saying he has not flipped on Trump despite Fani Willis implying otherwise last Friday afternoon. September 22, when mentioning him as a “witness for the state” in relation to Sidney Powell’s upcoming case later this month.

Later on Wood posted via Telegram stating he had no idea why he’d been asked to testify in said case and further claimed there hadn’t been any discussions between himself and DA’s office since his appearance before special grand jury several months ago now.

Former White House Chief Of Staff Mark Meadows is amongst defendants looking into possibility of having their cases moved over to federal court; though unfortunately his first bid failed so now they’re hoping 11th U.S Circuit Court Of Appeals will grant their request instead.
