GOP Prepares For War With Mexican Cartels, Alarming Everyone

One clear thing came out of the GOP debate, Republicans plan on going to war with the Mexican cartels, no matter who wins the election. That has both sides of the border freaking out.

Cartels in GOP cross-hairs

The Hill is alarmed to see that support for the U.S. taking unilateral military action in Mexico against drug cartels is on the rise with Republicans.

That particular observer of beltway goings on says it’s “increasingly rattling people on both sides of the border who worry talk of an attack is getting normalized.” Especially their editorial staff. That’s how the war in Ukraine got started.

While the debate was held by individuals intent on doing the job of president instead of Donald Trump, he’s been talking about eliminating the cartels for years. That’s what has the liberal left so rattled.

We could end up actually stopping the flow of drugs, illegal aliens and trafficked children. Democrats would be left without any of their basic necessities of life. Where would Hunter Biden get his cocaine from? They screech.

At The Hill notes, “Wednesday’s Republican presidential primary debate featured high-stakes policy disagreements on a range of issues from abortion to the environment.” They expected that. What makes them nervous is the “near-unanimous consensus on the idea of using American military force to fight drug smuggling and migration.

The cartels pay a fortune to officials on both sides of the border to continue doing business as usual. The ones they can’t bribe, they blackmail or kill.

Special forces in Mexico

The one who has liberals the most terrified is Ron DeSantis. Even though he hasn’t a chance at being elected as long as Donald Trump is still breathing, the Florida governor “made the strongest pledge on the stage.

He was quizzed on whether “he would support sending U.S. special forces into Mexico to take out fentanyl labs, to take out drug cartel operations.” You bet. “Yes. And I will do it on day one.” His “eagerness” to wipe out the cartels sent the Hill’s reporters scrambling for their safe space and a fuzzy blanket.

That, they whine, “reflects a growing normalization of the idea, which Republicans have embraced from the campaign trail to the halls of Congress.” Democrats are all in favor of anarchy and open borders.

By defunding the police, decriminalizing crime and refusing to prosecute any criminals of color they have caused the near collapse of civilization in America. The cartels are simply business men, Democrats insist. They supply things which we have a huge demand for. Everything from landscapers to fentanyl.

What really has the District disturbed was Nikki Haley’s response to the same question. “Even more moderate GOP candidates such as former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott have suggested support for some version of unilateral military action across the Rio Grande.

Moderate is the word the mainstream uses when they mean “RINO.” When even the Democrats in disguise are for the idea of wiping out the cartels, the New World Order has serious problems.
