Ever since Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) took office, I have been calling her out as a fraud.
She is a former BLM leader, so you have to just assume she is up to no good.
As it turns out, we were right, and now several conservative groups are coming after her.
Pay the Man
This all started when rumors were flying that Bush was dating a man that she had hired for her private security.
Cortney Merritts, who as of late February was still not licensed for private security, was getting checks from her campaign for security.
Bush ended up marrying this dude, and now it gets really interesting.
After her financial reports were revealed and everyone started to make a stink about it, she recategorized his paycheck.
It went from security expense to wage expense.
Since 2022, Merritts has made about $90,000 from Bush, and people want to know why.
Ted Harvey, chairman of the Committee to Defeat the President stated, “It turns out members of ‘The Squad’ aren’t the progressive revolutionaries they claim to be; they’re just run-of-the-mill Beltway grifters.
“She either paid her ex-lover and now-husband to perform illegal work, or just paid him meretriciously.
“But, either way, she broke the law and fumbled the cover-up. Americans deserve better, and our Committee is determined to hold her accountable in Washington, D.C., and back in Missouri, the same way any Republican would be held accountable by the radical Left.”
Is there anyone in DC that is not a grifter these days?
