ICYMI – It constantly amazes me that the people charged with putting out the information are often the least informed.
This brings me to the press conference after the Nashville shooting.
Karine Jean-Pierre was on the dais spouting out incorrect information, so a journalist had to check her in real-time.
Get Your Facts Straight
KJP was railing against Republicans, blaming them for the shooting, as usual.
Mind you, this was a mentally ill transgender who had been suicidal in the past, yet she was somehow able to put together a small arsenal.
I would say that there is a problem with the system, not Republicans.
Anyway, KJP stated, “We can’t keep seeing what we saw today.
“Right now, we’re hearing six kids — six elementary [school] kids dead.”
A journalist in the room immediately cut her off to correct her.
The journalist stated, “Three kids and three adults.”
Maybe I am nitpicking here, but she is the White House Press Secretary, with access to more information than most people on the planet, and she blows a fact like that?
