How is it possible to lose 350,000 people?
We thought it was bad when the Biden administration lost about 125,000 illegal immigrants.
As it turns out the number is actually more than double that!
No Idea
Courtesy of a FOIA request by Transactional Research Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University, yet another disaster regarding the border situation has shown up.
It turns out that DHS is not really giving the Alternatives to Detention Program (ATD) program all the attention it deserves.
This program was put in place to allow illegal immigrants to be set free via special monitoring.
That monitoring system was supposed to be ankle bracelets or special cell phones with GPS tracking.
According to the FOIA request, the DHS has no records of these individuals.
In responding to the request, DHS stated, “You have requested records pertaining to “the latest alien-by-alien, anonymous data covering all individuals who were taken into custody by ICE and entered (or transferred to) ICE ATD custody from the beginning of FY 2019 through August 2022 (or date of search, whichever later).
“ICE has conducted a search of the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) for records responsive to your request and no records responsive to your request were found.”
The most recent issue in this saga is that ICE now can't seem to find records on any migrants who have entered the program. See my tweet and link here:https://t.co/scXE218d7N

So are we to understand that Biden has lost 350,000 immigrants?
That is such a comforting thought.
